Concannon Art Is Serving Up Fresh Collector Packaging

The Jimmy Buffet cameo in the 2015 film “Jurassic World” only lasts a few moments but its a nice tip of the hat to the late “Margaritaville” singer. Mattel Creations captured the scene by sculpting a tribute collectible and called upon Concannon Art to design its packaging for this fun 2024 Comic-Con exclusive.

The memorable scene features Jimmy Buffet as a bartender at his own fully branded Margaritaville bar. The park is in full swing when it’s swarmed by Pterodactyls (Pterosaurs to be exact). The visitors run in terror including Mr. Buffett - but not before he grabs up two of his classic margarita’s - nicely done!

Concannon Art worked with illustrator Clark Mitchell to capture the scene. It’s a very quick snippet in the film and we were very excited to work with Clark to bring Mr Buffett into focus for the packaging face panel.
