Restoring Classics

Mattel requested some classic Hollywood key art to be recreated for their 2024 Comic Con installation. The available digital assets were unable to support the large scale format.

The ‘80’s Back To The Future movie poster shown above was completely recreated with a custom CG DeLorean built in MAYA and digitally repainted background. Each detail was researched and recreated in high resolution splendor right down to the clock tower’s fictional panther gargoyles.

Have you ever wished you could join Quint aboard the Orca? That was Mattel’s intent with this illustration from the stern of the classic boat. This Orca was rendered in MAYA with final post FX in Photoshop to give it a slightly vintaged feel. It appeared actual size at the San Diego ‘24 Comic Con allowing fans to post iconic pics.
